Digital Dash
BT Digital Dash is an award-winning app designed to motivate kids to get fit for a digital future by creating and training their own digital athletes. Players experiment with different food and exercise parameters, analyze performance data, and compete in virtual 100m sprints while developing computational thinking skills.
Originally intended as an interactive live event for schools, the project was reimagined into a mobile and tablet experience due to COVID. The app culminated in a live, virtual final hosted by Reggie Yates and Dame Kelly Holmes, where the winner earned £10,000 in IT vouchers for their school.
The app received notable accolades, including the Epica Silver Award for Best Branded Game and the Epica Bronze Award for Best Mobile App.
